Land in Bondalem

Iluh recently purchased 2000 m2 of land in her village of Bondalem. In Indonesia 2000 m2 of land is described as being 20 are, pronounced "ara" (one area = 10 x 10 m = 100 m2). The land is approximately 40 m wide and 50 m long. The front of the land faces onto a good access road and in front of this access road the beach is nearby (about 60 metres). The land is currently a permaculture food garden with mango, rambutan, sabo, bananas, and coconuts trees, and also pineapples. The coconut trees produce approximately 350 coconuts each month which sell for Rp 1000 each, at a total of about $40 Australian. In the future we hope to build a small house which can be used by us and family for holidays in Bondalem.
